Community Support Facility (CSF)

Summary Sector Program / Priority: CSF is one of CALGAP funding mechanism to support rehabilitation and post-tsunami reconstruction by building the capacity of local government through the promotion and building good relationship between the government and community with provided public facilities and infrastructure that are vital requirement for communities to enhance economic empowerment, various activities include the development of participatory community infrastructure such as provided community road for access to plantations, build roads for access to education for children in poor villages, bridges and build henhouse for community livelihoods

Strategic objectives:

• Improving good governance by providing public services, facilities and education facilities
• Increased capacity of community groups for participation in the planning, implementation and management of programs of community facilities
• Mobilization of community and to establish of committees that participated of community, stakeholder, and governments to cooperate in various activities for the community
• Increasing the capacity of government to the various planning programs responsive cross-cutting issues (Gender, Democracy, Peace building and Environment)

Provision of Information Services and Technology for Elementary Schools

Summary Sector Program / Priority: the program goals is to improve the quality of education for student in the school for information and technology through provided of 100 unit computers in Pidie District at 100 Elementary Schools

Strategic objectives:

• Build mini laboratory to the computer as a place for practicing information and technology
• Increasing the capacity of teachers concerning of information technology and will become a teacher in each school
• Provide a module that will be teaching materials for elementary school students about information and technology

Health and Nutrition Improvement

Summary Sector Program / Priorities: Goal Health and Nutrition Program is to reduce mortality and disease caused by a variety of health problems and nutrition for children under five and pregnant and breastfeeding mothers for poor communities in areas effected by conflict through increasing access to health services and the encourage people to health behavior .

Strategic objectives:

• Reactivated sustainable the child and maternal health services and health reproductive for pregnant and breastfeeding mother
• Reduce the cases of malnutrition for children under five, pregnant women breastfeeding mother
• Increase supervision and treatment of outreach diseases.

Posyandu (Village Health Post) Revitalization

Summary Sector Program / Priority: Revitalization of the community nutrition centers and Posyandu, helping the children with less weight, establish health education centers for mothers and children to improve maternal health and prevent malnutrition for children, helping local governments make Posyandu revitalization program, facilitating government in district and village level to integrate health programs to their program.

Strategic objectives:

• Improve health services for mothers and children in conflict areas
• Reduce maternal and child mortality
• Reduce the morbidity of pregnant women and childbirth, children and children under five
• Improving the nutritional status of mothers and children, babies and toddlers
• Increase knowledge and awareness of health for the mother and child
• Preventing outreach diseases whether or not transmitted to the mother and child
• Improve quality, ability and skills integrated health cadres.
• Improving the management of integrated health services.
• Improving the completeness fulfillment facilities, equipment, and drugs in the integrated health.
• Increase partnerships and community empowerment for sustainable integrated health activities.
• Improve the function of assistance and quality integrated health promotion.

Community Psychosocial Program

Summary Sector Program / Priority: psychosocial support programs for community effected by tsunami and conflict and to integrate traditional support systems through a variety of community activities, like sports, cultural events and art.

Strategic objectives:

• Helping children to recover from the trauma of the tsunami and the conflict grew back a sense of security and normality
• Helping children and widows, survivors to prevent with long-term stress due to conflict and tsunami
• Helping communities prepare and reduce for the risk of future disasters
